Another Lovely Labor Day

This past Labor Day we spent the weekend relaxing in St. George. We went down with my family and had agreat time swimming, exploring in Zion, relaxing at the condo, riding an awesome carousel and antiquing.

Ok not really antiquing per say. However, that sounds much cooler than what it actually was which involved a whole lot of time spent in only one little, smelly antique store while Mom tried to buy a beautiful piece of furniture.

However that beautiful piece of furniture now sits in her living room so it was definitely worth it.

Also I should note that Dad, Nate and I left the antique store fairly quickly in order to explore a wonderful park area with the best splash pad ever. Who says splash pads are just for kids? In my shorts and saltwater I was able to get plenty cooled off.

It really was such an awesome, fun weekend with a bunch of my favorite people. Thanks for the trip mom and dad! St. George never disappoints.

(we're mastering the selfie with a real camera look....)

My husband found a tadpole!

While in St. George we went and found where Nate's great-grandparents are buried. He'd never been before, and it was a really wonderful experience

And about that horseback riding-alright technically it was a carousel

Come to Zion

Friday the family all ventured down from Sandy, to Provo, to Ceder City and finally to Zion's Ponderosa Ranch for a fun filled weekend. It was so nice to all be together, now that we're all over the state, and enjoy a beautiful weekend together.

We had a blast jeeping, going on an ATV tour, playing Uno, enjoying the scenery, swimming, playing pool, riding the zip line, relaxing, watching friends, taking naps (any vacation with naps is a good one), blasting some Taylor Swift on the drive, mini golfing and just being together.

It was a wonderful weekend-a great send off to summer with the warm busy days, and lovely welcome to fall with the smores and sweaters. We couldn't have had a better weekend together.

Of course I can't narrow down the pictures to an acceptable amount, so settle in. There are a lot.

This one might be my favorite.

Thanks mom and dad for a wonderful weekend! I loved getting to hang out with everyone!

Labor Day Weekend

i can get hurt playing the most mild of sports, mom and I got a hole in 2, and... i lost

abbie being very serious, megs gets a whole in 1, and this man shows us how it's really done

Friday: shopping with Mom, dinner with the family, a little bit of an allergic reaction, TCU vs Baylor with Dad, ice cream with Stace, and getting knocked out by Benadryll

Saturday: sleeping in, bagels, Park City, browsing the shops, enjoying the perfect weather, meeting Michelle Money (soo soo kind. can I just take a minute and say how genuine and sweet she is. I'm seriously hoping she wins that little tv show she is currently on), dinner and football

Sunday: sleeping in, church in Provo (I'm loving my ward here), getting a new calling, dinner with the Child's, Sweet Home Alabama, and the following southern speak for the rest of the night

Monday: sleeping in, lunch with the family, running into some friends, mini golf, homework, back to Provo, and some crafty actually-do-something-I-pinned-time.
It was a fun weekend, and just what I needed after last week (was it the longest week ever for anyone else?). Now I'm refreshed (did you notice the "sleeping in" trend?) and ready to get back to work/school/studying/provo life.

Thanks family! It was fun. Well obviously-because we have "such a fun family".
